Mosaic Lens Productions Video Editing Mega Pack for Davinci Resolve and Fusion
So basically, I've put together a pack of video editing elements for music videos mostly and I'll add to it as the years go on (you'll get free updates for a one-time payment). Unlike some offers, you can use these assets however you'd like. You can even resell them, mix them up and make something new and sell that, or even give 'em away. I'm gonna make these anyway for my own videos, so think of the payment/pack as a tip/gift/investment. I'll be making YouTube videos about the contents and showing how to use them in creative ways as well as doing some behind-the-scenes videos showing how I make some of these assets. I hope you find them useful. Now, go make some art. (Some assets were previously made/available from me and are still included in this pack).
Present Contents:
700+ Non-Video Assets (1.8gb zip/approx. 762 files) includes: 195 Tapes and Stickers, 143 Paper Parts, 123 Textures and Splatters, 116 Mattes, 107 Icons and Shapes, 35 Boxes and Bags, 12 Nails/Bolts/Screws, and 31 Sound FX. More to come, but this is a good start. Most files are PNG format (various sizes) with an alpha channel/pre-keyed. These work in almost any video/photo editor.
Glitchy Goods (11.5 GB/262 video files): Inside you'll find digital glitch footage, analog glitch footage made with custom circuit bent hardware, video feedback, CRT footage, video synth footage all in mp4 format for compatibility with virtually all video editing software. Some are long, some are short, and come in a variety of colors and styles (HD/30-59fps). Use them as overlays or cut 'em up for transitions. Many of them play well stacked with opacity/screen/etc. options engaged. There are some Sound Effects in the big asset folder that can be used with this for a better effect during transitions.
Creative LUTs (13 MB/69 LUTs): These are not your average LUTs. They do not convert LOG to Rec709 or add a little warmth or give you the "orange and teal/cinematic" look. Instead these really push what LUTs can do. Much more than a filter, some of these can even give distortion-like effects such as the included "Liquid Static" one. Others include: "Red Denim Wash", "Orange Soda", "Icey", "Rainbow Outline", and "Ballpoint". 69 in total to start. These are in .cube format and are designed to work with Davinci Resolve/Fusion, but you may be able to use them in other editing programs as well.
Liquid Light Oils (15 GB/7 short multi-color, 1 long single color videos): If you are familiar with the liquid light shows of the 60s and 70s, you may remember these types of old-school vintage analog light shows that were around using overhead projects, oils, and clock faces long before the lasers, projection mapping, etc that we have today. Use these captures from my setup as backgrounds, overlays, or transitions. They are in MOV format at about 60 fps which is great for slowing them down. You can also change up the colors to your liking or stack them as they play well with opacity.
Light Leaks (11.5 GB/36 files): Normally, I find light leaks to be about 5 seconds long, which can be great for a transition, but sometimes I want something longer. So I made these. While there is only 36 listed files, there is a total of over 12 minutes as some of these clips are over 50 seconds long (there could've been more than 150 short clips). However, this way, you can take a piece or add a continuous leak to a longer section. I recommend you viewing the folder as icons so you can see the general idea/color/shape of the light leak you're adding to your timeline, but feel free to cut up your favorites and reorganize them to your liking. Mix 'em together and make something new. These are in 4k mp4 format and are not pre-keyed, so if you want some darkness for a transition, you've got it. If you want an overlay, make it screen, and you've got it. These files were designed for Davinci Resolve/Fusion, but should work in any video editor.
Vehicle Swipes (64 MB/9 files): Is the start to a pack of practical transitions. Basically it's a variety of cars, trucks, and vans passing by close in front of the camera that have been cut out so that you can make a transition between two scenes. I'm planning on adding walls, trees, people passing by, etc. in the future, but let me know some other ideas I can try. These are in MOV (HD/59.94fps with some blur) format so that they can include an alpha channel/pre-keyed. Most desktop/mobile media players will not be able to read these files, but video editors (like Davinci Resolve) can. The ever amazing VLC Media player can also view these files just fine if you'd like to preview them.
Packs are available in separate ZIPs to make life easier if you want to only get certain parts of the pack. Of course, they are all yours to access later.
I'll be adding Fuses, DCTLs, Davinci/Fusion presets, and lots more elements throughout the year all added to this bundle for free.**
[September Addition] Beat Sync Moving Mattes (25 MB/16 files): Sometimes you need things to move to a beat. I often find myself doing this for music videos, but it could be a movie trailer, a product spot, a commercial, a real estate tour, or an event recap. What these do is allow you to add simple fades, on beat, either to white, to black, or to a second clip. Using the foreground/luma or inverted luma/alpha blend modes in Davinci Resolve among two or three layers, you can get some great effects. These moving mattes are black and white mattes (luma) that fade/grow/move/etc. in time with a kick/bass drum embedded in the track at 120 BMP (beats per minute) at 24 fps, but you are not limited to that BMP. You can make them faster or slower by slowing down the clip and these are loopable. Besides looping them or time-stretching them, you can also stack them together, rotate, zoom, etc. into compound clips and make custom moving mattes. In this pack you'll get 16 different moving mattes including: Black White Strobe, Corner Step, Double Time Strobe, Fade to White, Growing and Passing Circle/Square/Triangle, Half Stepper, Quarter Stepper, Scattered Columns, Stutter Stop Strobe, and Super Strobe. And remember you can reverse them too so Fade to White can be Fade to Black, Growing Circle can be Shrinking Circle and so on. Just line them up to your beat using the embedded kick/bass hit audio and then you can delete/mute the audio so just your audio plays. They make great transitions or over the top effects. Have fun. These are designed to work in Davinci Resolve/Fusion, but you can use them in most video editors that accept black & white (luma) mattes.
While the assets were designed for Davinci/Fusion, many will work in other editors.
**The current contents are listed and more will be added over time, but to be clear, the content here is what you are buying. Updates are not scheduled for specific dates. As I make more this year, I'll add it to this bundle or make it available otherwise.
Over 1000 (about 40 gigs) assets I've created ranging from analog glitch synthesis/feedback footage from custom circuit bent hardware shot on CRT to mattes for video layouts to light leaks to LUTs and more...
